MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – October 24, 2011 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present:
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and accepted.
The Board of Selectmen reviewed and accepted Policies and Procedures submitted by Council on Aging.
Accepted the resignation of Jason Smith, Planning Board member. Michael Kaminski was appointed a Planning Board member until the next town election.
All burials within the Town of Tolland will take place in the Twining Cemetery with the exception of pre designated plots as of October, 24, 2011.
Tolland Public Safety Complex & DPW Renovations Change Order #22 – Fix Rafters at DPW Building $504.42. Change order accepted.
Voted on the style of the exterior sign for the Public Safety Complex.
A letter was sent to the Town of Sandisfield, Board of Selectmen regarding housing or borrowing one of their tankers to be located within the Town of Tolland. A response was given to the board with questions of Insurance, lease, plans to purchase, maintenance and inspections and any change made to the vehicle need to be approved by the Town of Sandisfield. The response will be given the Fire Chief Littlefield for his follow up.
